Arezou H. Piroozi, Esq. is a seasoned attorney with more than two decades of experience representing clients across multiple areas of law, including personal injury, immigration, and family law. Raised in the United States after emigrating from Iran at the age of three, her legal career reflects both breadth and depth, shaped by service across Oklahoma, Illinois, California, and Nevada. She has practiced law in Nevada since 2006.

Before founding her own firm in 2010, Ms. Piroozi gained critical experience at two respected Las Vegas law firms, Reza Athari & Associates and Patti, Sgro & Lewis. There she honed her litigation, case management, and advocacy skills, with a primary focus on civil and immigration law in both state and federal courts.

As the managing attorney of Piroozi Law Group, PLLC for more than a decade, she led a team of up to five paralegals and seven staff members, ensuring a strong standard of client care and legal excellence. Her firm handled a wide spectrum of family law matters including divorce, annulment, child custody, child support, and protection orders. She also represented thousands of immigration clients before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), managing bond hearings, removal proceedings, and appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). Her appellate experience extends to the BIA, the Nevada Court of Appeals, and oral argument before the Nevada Supreme Court.

After closing her practice, Ms. Piroozi joined Van Law Firm, where over a two-year period she managed thousands of personal injury cases and helped clients achieve meaningful settlements after life-altering accidents. In November 2024, she joined attorney Ryan Alexander and the legal team at Ryan Alexander, Chtd., continuing her commitment to justice by advocating for injured clients and guiding them through the legal process with clarity, compassion, and confidence.

Ms. Piroozi is admitted to practice law in Nevada and Texas. She is fluent in Farsi and is known for her tenacity in the courtroom, strategic case approach, and ability to understand and support the diverse communities she serves. She is an active member of the Nevada Bar Association, the Nevada Justice Association, and the Clark County Bar Association, and has also been a member of the ABA, the Texas Bar, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Education

Ms. Piroozi earned her Juris Doctor and MBA from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco. Before that, she completed her undergraduate studies at San Jose State University, where she double-majored in Psychology and Biology.

In 1999, she expanded her academic and cultural perspective by spending six months studying abroad at the Saint Louis University campus in Madrid, Spain. This formative experience enriched her understanding of international law, human rights, and cross-cultural advocacy—insight she carries into her work today.

Personal Background

Born in Iran and raised in the United States from early childhood, Ms. Piroozi’s life journey spans several states and cultures. Her upbringing in Oklahoma, Illinois, and California provided a unique foundation that shaped her worldview and created a natural sensitivity for immigrant communities and families navigating complex systems.

Her multicultural background, combined with her legal fluency and linguistic ability in Farsi, has made her a trusted advocate for clients seeking not just legal representation, but understanding and respect.

Her career reflects an unwavering commitment to perseverance, opportunity, and justice—values shaped as much by her life story as by her legal training.

Life Outside the Law

Outside of her practice, Ms. Piroozi is a devoted mother to her son, Ayden, who is currently a high school senior. She enjoys snowboarding, traveling, staying active, and embracing new experiences.

Her personal passions reflect the same driving forces that have guided her legal career: resilience, curiosity, cultural appreciation, and dedication to the people she serves.
